Hi — I'm Waleed Alkhaldi, a Data Science graduate from the University of Hafr Al-Batin. I build end-to-end analytics: from messy CSV to clean models to dashboards people actually use. Currently shipping internal tools and analytics at Alsail Co. via the COOP program.
I'm a Data Science graduate genuinely obsessed with what data can tell us when we ask it the right questions. My favorite part of the workflow is the boring middle — cleaning, joining, and exploring — because that's where the actual story lives.
I work end-to-end: pulling data with SQL, wrangling it in Python (Pandas, NumPy), modeling with Scikit-learn, and shipping the result as something a non-technical stakeholder can read in 30 seconds — usually a Power BI dashboard.
I've also worked with Big Data tooling (Hadoop, Spark) on academic-scale datasets, and I'm currently applying everything I've learned in a real-world setting at Alsail Company's IT department.
Built a full pipeline to analyze historical electricity usage, identify consumption patterns by period and segment, and forecast future demand. Delivered as an interactive Power BI dashboard for monitoring and decision support.
Analyzed a banking dataset to understand customer behavior and built predictive models for key outcomes. Walked the full workflow: data cleaning, EDA, visualization, feature engineering, and model evaluation — with practical takeaways on financial data.
Academic project processing large-scale unstructured datasets in a distributed environment. Built practical pipelines with Hadoop and Apache Spark, learning how to scale analysis beyond a single machine and extract insight from messy, high-volume data.
